Charles Ross

I’m a U.S. Army Chaplain of 18+ years, a husband of 23 years, a father to five children, and a foster parent to one child who passed away from a drug overdose. I enjoy working with adults, couples, and families in a wide range of ages. I have a wide variety of experience working with clients with anxiety, depression, self-harm, suicidal ideation, PTSD, and more. I view the client as the true “expert” in their own life and I see myself as a guide and mentor along the way. What is important to me is to be authentic and genuine in the therapy process.

I like traveling with my wife all over the United States and visiting key countries like Ireland and Scotland, I also play the ukulele. One thing about me is I love to cook just about anything on my smoker.

At this time, I am accepting new clients exclusively via telehealth.

My educational background is:

  • Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Saint Mary's College

  • Bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies from Lancaster Bible College

  • Master of Divinity in Pastoral Counseling

  • Master of Theology from Liberty Theological Seminary

  • Doctor of Philosophy in Leadership Studies from Capital Seminary

  • Currently pursuing Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University
